Many of the starters tend to loose motivation with time and fall back. Here are few tips to get that zeal of physical activeness going and motivating yourself day in and day out:

Join a class:

One of the best ways to keep yourself on track. The socialising that happens in these classes act like the best motivator for anyone of any age group.

Track your progress:

it has been proved by the researches that you are more likely to stick to a physical activity if you can see or quantify the progress. It would be great if you use a fitness test to track your progress. In this way you will keep yourself motivated and also would come to know your shortfalls.

Make a commitment and goal:

Having a goal in mind is the best motivator you can give yourself. Try signing up for a walk or any such social activity. This will keep your motivation index elevated since you would have a goal to achieve. Sharing your goals with the trainer or gym instructor can prove to be beneficial as it will help you to stick on the plan and eventually get the desired results.

Don't watch yourself exercising:

A study revealed that women who concentrated on their body movements during exercise tended to exercise less often. Their workouts were also less intense and/or shorter than women who didn't. So it is recommended to not look in mirror during your workout movements.
